The PCC identified the need for a fully accessible WC and Kitchenette for use during services and events which are held at the church. The west end of the South Aisle was identified as a suitable location for a discreet installation. A panelled oak “pod” was designed to complement the existing Tower screen. Folding sliding doors have been installed on the east side which conceal a Kitchenette. The Kitchenette contains a sink with base and wall units. A wall hung water boiler has also been installed. Some pews were removed for the installation and to create a more flexible space. This is an example of how new facilities can be sensitively installed in a grade II* listed church.
